Anwmala

Some of you already know my mum’s sweet specialty, the famous “anwmala”. They are much loved from our family and friends, and they are made with only two ingredients: roasted almonds and dark chocolate!

 Ingredients 

  • 2 cups roasted almonds
  • 1 tbsp of ground-nut oil
  • 500gr dark chocolate

How to make them

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C and roast the almonds for 15 to 20 minutes.
  2. Melt the dark chocolate over a bain marie.
  3. Remove from heat, pour in the almonds and stir until evenly coated. Drop spoonfuls of the mixture and wait until they are back at room temperature.

A small tip: When the chocolate is fully melted, add one tbsp of ground-nut oil. It will make your sweets shiny!!
